Successful candidates will balance teaching, scholarship and service responsibilities. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities:
Teaching and supervising in the area of exceptionalities including
methods of special education focused on the middle/high school level.
Developing and conducting a professional line of research and demonstrate the ability to supervise master's level research.
Advising of undergraduate and graduate students.
Providing service to the department, college, university and local school agencies.
Qualifications: An earned doctorate in special education or a closely aligned discipline.
At least three years of successful teaching of students with disabilities accessing the general curriculum at the middle/high school level.
Applicants with advanced knowledge of transitions services and/or differentiation will be given preference.
Demonstrated success in university teaching is an asset.
Pay Rate: Commensurate with experience
