Onondaga Community College will host Central New York Service Academy Day on Wednesday, Nov. 14.? Juniors and Seniors who are considering applying to a military service academy and their parents are urged to attend the event, which begins at 6 p.m. in room Whitney 101.
Representatives of the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and ROTC will be on hand to discuss the unique academic and career opportunities those organizations offer. They will present an overview of the admission process, daily life of a cadet/midshipman, and the paths to becoming an officer.
Students and parents interested in attending are asked to RSVP to Kashieka_Phillips@gillibrand.senate.gov. Call 448-0470 with questions.
